Heat rash in dogs is not dangerous and for the most part, treatment is not usually needed. A heat rash treatment can be applied after you know the cause. Avoid using any ointments, lotions or treatments that are made for human use. These are not tested on animals and could harm your pet.
It is very common that food allergies will cause all kinds of skin problems. So talk with your vet about the alimentation of your dog, because it might be necessary to change it.
Open an aloe leaf and tape it to the rash and see if that helps. Also, calendula salve is very soothing. Don’t let your dog scratching all day long.
